NATIONAL DANCE EDUCATION ORGANIZATION – UWSP STUDENT CHAPTER 

NDEO provides professional development, networking forums, honor societies, journals, research and advocacy tools for teachers, administrators and students in the field of dance education centered in the arts. Our members teach multiple dance genres in a variety of environments including, but not limited to, K-12 schools, dance studios, colleges and community centers. Join NDEO to advance your career and benefit your students. Become a part of a community that shares your passion for excellence in teaching the art of dance.

Recognized by the Student Government Association (SGA) the UW-Stevens Point NDEO Student Chapter sponsors activities and events that are open to students across campus. Membership in the UWSP NDEO is open to all qualifying students and provides a forum for intellectual and creative exchange. Student members are also eligible to graduate with honors through the National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA). Announcements of UWSP NDEO Student Chapter activities and events are posted on Facebook, UW-Stevens Point NDEO Student Chapter, Instagram, uwsp_ndeo, other social media platforms, and the dance program call board in the NFAC 136A warmup area. 

PLAYERS

Players is a UWSP student organization seeking to provide a place for students to foster their creativity in not only theatre but writing, dance, poetry, and more! The purpose of Players Student Artistic Alliance is to foster interest and participation in social and artistic activities, as well as create opportunities for professional educational growth. 

Weekly meetings are held on Mondays at 5pm in the NFAC Conference Room.
