STUDENTS SHINE A LIGHT ON RESEARCH PROJECTS
The Undergraduate Research Symposium celebrated 25 years of showcasing student research, in close collaboration with our dedicated UWSP faculty. It is a highlight of our year when we get to shine the light on the inspirational, creative accomplishments of our student scholars at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Our student research includes projects in the humanities, natural sciences, math, computing, and the social and behavioral sciences. Students showcase their research through poster and oral presentations during the annual event as a culmination of their research experience.
Our 2025 Symposium will be held on May 2 in the Chemistry Biology Building.
Student presentations in 2022 Undergraduate Research Symposium
The 25th Annual COLS Undergraduate Research Symposium held May 3, 2024 was an impressive demonstration of the close collaboration between faculty and students in research work. The event featured oral and poster presentations in the Chemistry Biology Building, 120 projects from across the College of Letters and Science.
