Faculty-Mentored Student Research
One of the hallmarks of the School of Biology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry is our commitment to faculty-mentored undergraduate research. A high percentage of our students participate in laboratory and field research projects with faculty mentors. Many students also spend the summer conducting research at UW-Stevens Point and at a variety of cooperating institutions.
Lab Experience for Your Future Career
Deepen your passion for science through amazing opportunities not confined to coursework. Students interested in gaining research experience will find various paths to get hands-on, early! Talk to your adviser or faculty-mentor about engaging in one of our current research projects under way at UWSP.
Research in Biology
UW-Stevens Point biology students excel in organismal biology and are encouraged to participate in field courses. Our dedicated faculty involve students in a number of ongoing research projects each semester. You can work in the study of plant culture, fish communities, parasitology, experimental design, and much more!
Research in Chemistry
