Featuring Wisconsin based composer Pierre LaPlante and Minnesota composer Aaron Perrine with the Wind Symphony.
The Symphonic Wind Ensemble will perform Australian composer Jodie Blackshaw’s playful “Twist” about the Murray River, and one of Holst greatest works “Hammersmith” about the River Thames. The epic “Ecstatic Waters” by Steven Bryant will conclude artfully fusing electronics with acoustic instruments.
