What constitutes free speech?

This event will celebrate Constitution Day and focus on current topics in free speech on campus. There will be short presentations on civil dialogue and the basic principles of freedom of expression on college campuses. Attendees will be seated in small groups for discussion and civil dialogue. Join us for a discussion of some of the most pressing questions centered on free speech rights in the United States.

The Symposium on Free Speech is presented by the UWSP College of Letters and Science. The session will be moderated by Department of Political Science Professor John Blakeman.

Whether you are a student, faculty, or community member, come and share your input in our free speech discussion. Join us for refreshments with a light buffet. Event is free but participants are encouraged to sign up to guarantee seating.
