Braiding Sweetgrass

One thing about your school that you are most proud of?

Students use what they learn in the classroom to help real patients in our clinic. Our faculty/staff are hardworking and dedicated.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?

I love the moment when a difficult concept “clicks” with a student, and seeing their satisfaction when they can apply something they’ve learned in class to help a patient in our clinic.

A piece of advice for students in your school?

If a difficult concept doesn’t click right away, come back to it again, write it out, talk it out, and meet with your professor to discuss it!
