Bio

Rachel Charron is a coach, social worker and educator serving children, young adults and families in Wisconsin. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from UW-Madison and worked in the child welfare field as both a direct worker and supervisor for nearly 10 years before transitioning into the health education. Rachel has worked in government and private agencies supporting families and staff in a variety of communities across the state. She then moved into a public health role working in direct practice, supporting children in school and afterschool settings, as well in macro practice for the Wisconsin Afterschool Network (now Wisconsin Out of School Time Alliance).

In 2024, Rachel completed the Certified Professional Coach program with the UW-Madison and she moved into a position in higher education where she supports undergraduate students build the capacity to overcome challenges and discover their purpose. Rachel fulfills multiple roles, coaching students, teaching courses and in advising. Worker wellness, strengths-based initiatives, neurodivergence and trauma-informed care have been primary focuses of Rachel’s work. She completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training program in 2019 and continues to seek out ways to learn, grow and promote wellness in others.
