A piece of advice for students pursuing education in your department?

A degree won’t teach you everything you need to know for your entire career. However, a degree can provide you with the skills necessary to solve problems, meet the challenges of your chosen field, and prepare you for needed, future education. In addition, education can provide a greater awareness and understanding of important social and economic issues, which in turn can increase your understanding of others.
