Emily Lotz

BIO

Emily Lotz is a Wisconsin native growing up in the Milwaukee area. She has her BFA undergraduate degree from UW-Stevens Point and her Masters in Scenic Design from the University of Maryland-College Park. She lived and worked in DC for eight years. Some of her favorite projects have been Little Shop of Horrors (ArtsCentric), Do You Feel Anger? (Theater Alliance), Inherit The Windbag (Mosaic Theater Company), Always… Patsy Cline (Milwaukee Rep) and She Kills Monsters (UMBC). She is also a Helen Hayes Award Winner for Outstanding Scenic Design for her show Princess & The Pauper: A Bollywood Tale at Imagination Stage. When Emily is not working in the theater she is a master miniature maker specializing in iconic doors from movies and television. She has traveled to conventions and art fairs selling her models and other art. Her current favorite location to be a vendor is the Bristol Renaissance Faire. Emily is very excited to return to Stevens Point with her dog, Jerri, and her two cats, Willie & Tammy
