Students with food allergies or special dietary requirements will find a variety of choices in the University Housing Dining Locations and we strive to provide foods you will enjoy. We work towards labeling items with common allergens and encourage students to review the nutrition information for items they purchase. Our staff will always take care to avoid cross contact whenever possible but the risk is never completely eliminated. Residents with food allergies are reminded to use caution in the community setting of a residence hall facility. Please approach a staff member if you have questions.

PLEASE NOTE: University Dining takes every precaution to check ingredient information and to ensure that cross-contamination of ingredients does not occur. Our fryers are used for all fried food products and those products should not be considered allergen-friendly.

Ingredients and nutritional content may vary. Manufacturers may change their product formulation or consistency without our knowledge and product availability may fluctuate. While we make every effort to identify nutrition data and allergen information, we cannot assure against these contingencies.

It is the responsibility of the customer with food allergies or other specific nutritional concerns to make the final judgment on whether or not to question the ingredients of a food item or to choose to eat the foods selected. Guests are encouraged to consider the information provided, to their own satisfaction, in light of their individual needs and requirements. For individualized assistance please contact the Registered Dietitian at University.Dining.Dietitian@uwsp.edu.
