Central Wisconsin Environmental Station Scouting
Camp Chickagami
The land at CWES is leased to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Foundation by the Trustees of Camp Chickagami, preserving a rich scouting tradition. Members of the Samoset Council can reserve facilities for scouting events from October 1st to April 30th.
Reservations typically include Anderson Lodge, which accommodates up to 22 guests and offers a common area with a dry kitchen, refrigerator, and stove. For larger groups, White Pine Lodge is available. Conveniently located nearby, a shared bathhouse provides toilets, sinks, and showers, with a separate sink room for dishwashing.
Scout Reservations
CWES will begin taking weekend reservations after July 15 for the October 1-April 30 season. Please email cwes@uwsp.edu along with your Troop Number, Troop Leader name, contact information, and number of scout and adults.
