CWES proudly manages a scenic 40-acre parcel of land known as Minister Lake, which is part of the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program. This property offers public access and limited hunting opportunities in a serene natural environment.

Hunting Guidelines

  • Type of Hunting: Bow hunting only.
  • Hunting Dates: December 21–31 annually.
  • Daily Limit: Two hunters per day.

How to Apply

To hunt at Minister Lake, you must submit a Hunting Request Form during the application window from October 1–31. Requests received after this period will not be considered.

If multiple requests are submitted for the same date(s), a random drawing will determine who receives hunting permission. Notifications of hunting dates will be sent out by mid-November.
