SUPPORT US

The Olson Museum of Natural History is a community gem in the Stevens Point area. We work to inspire wonder of the natural world and our place in it. With hundreds of thousands of artifacts and research specimens housed at UW-Stevens Point, the space promises to connect current and future generations to the past. Throughout the year, the museum hosts special events, open to the community, at no charge.

If you believe in our work, consider making a gift. The Olson Museum of Natural History relies heavily on donations to provide funding for programming, accessibility, outreach and training, research and teaching collections as well as associated exhibits. Your donation will have a direct effect in the advancement of the museum.

Help the Museum’s collections curators in the care of our non-living collections. Collection Volunteers will assist the collections’ curators with cleaning, identifying, preserving, documenting, categorizing, data entry, and any other projects as it pertains to the Museum of Natural History collections. Volunteer duties are collection-specific and are up to the discretion of the collection’s curator. Opportunities are dependent on collection needs and availability.
