Up to two student entrepreneurs will represent UW-Stevens Point at The Pitch 2025 business startup competition at Fox Cities Stadium. And get this: It’s open to all UWSP students!

What is The Pitch?

The Pitch at Fox Cities Stadium

The Pitch is a startup business pitch competition among college student teams in Northeast Wisconsin. Competing teams have advanced from their campus competitions and have the opportunity to win cash and in-kind services to further their entrepreneurial pursuits.

Judging Criteria

Eligibility Requirements

Students should pitch business models for highly scalable, high impact ventures. Student teams are given four minutes to pitch, followed by two minutes of questions from the judges.

UWSP Qualifying Event

Students Riley O’Connor (business administration) and Evan Casper (hydrology) secured their spots after impressing judges in the campus qualifying round. They were selected to represent UW-Stevens Point at The Pitch competition at Fox Cities Stadium and earned a $1,000 scholarship award.

2024

History of The Pitch

UW-Stevens Point marketing student Haley Densow took first place at The Pitch 2024 and won $10,000. Densow pitched DormDash, an on-campus food delivery system that allows students use their meal plans to have food delivered to their dorm rooms.
