The Wisconsin Forestry Center is now accepting applications for the spring 2025 offering of the Forest Operations Immersion Training Program. This six-week full-time training will be March 30-May 9, 2025, at Treehaven near Tomahawk, Wis. The training features hands-on learning and skill development in forestry equipment operation and maintenance, with instruction from industry experts. Enrollment is limited to a cohort of 10 participants. Apply by midnight CT on December 31, 2024. Applications will be reviewed as they are received; apply early for the best consideration. Preference will be given to Wisconsin residents; applicants must be U.S. residents.
In-state tuition and fees, lodging, and meals are covered at no cost to students. This program is supported by a Workforce Innovation Grant awarded to the Wisconsin Forestry Center from the and the Participants will be responsible for other expenses (i.e., travel to the program, appropriate clothing and shoes, school supplies, etc.).
