Wausau

Sandy Vang ’21

Business Administration

“Taking a two-year break from school was a personal decision for me. I needed to figure out my path in life. As a daughter of Hmong refugees, my parents have always encouraged me to take on opportunities they never had such as higher education. When I realized UWSP offered bachelor’s degrees in Wausau, I knew it was time to come back and finish what I started after earning my associate degree. I will be graduating in December 2021 with a bachelor’s in business administration and advancing my career in human resources.”

Stevens Point

Ann Ilagan ’21

Marketing

“I’m a photographer–creative, artistic and really good at my craft–but I realized I was missing the business aspect. After earning my associate degree from Mid-State Technical College, I decided to come back to finish my bachelor’s degree with UW-Stevens Point. I was happy all my credits transferred.”

Marshfield

Joe Vance ’21

Business Administration

“Hearing I was not qualified for a position just motivated me more to continue my educational journey to earn my degree. I did not want any other doors to shut in my face. UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield was a great fit for me, because it was convenient and close to home. It allowed me to expand my skillset and prepare me for the business world. I am currently enrolled in the 4+1 MBA program, and I am excited about expanding my possibilities. “
