Unveiling the Invisible Universe

November 17 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

Winner of Best Full Dome Film at the 2021 Baikal International Film Festival, Unveiling the Invisible Universe uses vivid, dynamic imagery to survey 13 billion light years of space observation from Galileo to the recently launched James Webb Space Telescope.

For thousands of years we have observed light coming from the night sky with our own eyes. In the beginning of the 17th century, the invention of the telescope by Galileo revolutionized our knowledge of the Universe. Then, finally in the 20th century with the advent of rockets, it became possible to go above the earth’s atmosphere and observe X-ray, gamma ray radiation, neutrinos, cosmic rays and more that opened a new window into astrophysics. Don’t miss this breathtaking film and come explore the cosmos as revealed by all its different messengers.

This feature is especially good for our guests aged 10 and older. *Recommended for all audiences
