Digital Forensics and Recovery Analysis Lab
Complementing our comprehensive research initiatives is the UWSP Digital Forensics and Recovery Analysis Lab (UWSP DFRAL), a specialized sub-unit currently under development, that dives deep into the intricacies of digital forensics and data recovery. Here, students and researchers alike explore the latest techniques and technologies in cyber investigation, developing the skills necessary to tackle the complex challenges of today’s digital landscape.

Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD)
designation for meeting standards in the curriculum and
cybersecurity practice within the institution by the National
Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity.

The Computing and New Media Technologies (CNMT) Advisory Board’s mission is to serve in an advisory role to ensure that the department’s curricula maintains currency in the broad areas of application development, infrastructure and networking, and digital media development.
