Parking and Elevators
Reserved parking spaces can be found at the north end of campus, in Lot B and at the northwest corner of the field house, in lot D. Elevators are at the north, east and southwest entrances.
Dean of Students
The Office of the Dean of Students is available to help students maximize their learning experience by creating a culture of care, fostering personal responsibility, and encouraging involvement as members of the campus and broader communities. Emergency Grants
The Emergency Grant program is available to branch campus students with unexpected financial crisis that would cause them to not be able to complete the term. The Emergency Grant is intended to help with expenses such as unexpected medical expenses, car repair, travel expenses for family emergency and replacement of items due to theft/fire damage. Allowable expenses to qualify for a grant must be an emergency and cannot include on-going monthly expenses such as; rent credit card bills or utilities. Allowable expenses also cannot include tuition, textbooks, student fees, alcohol/tobacco, groceries, entertainment, legal services or fines. No more than two grants per academic year per student, not to exceed $500 in total is available. For more information, log in and complete the application.
Food Pantry
The Wausau campus’s food pantry, The Cupboard at Wausau, provides food assistance to students facing food insecurity. Students can order online (with drive-up pick up) or choose and pick up food in person, during regular hours or by appointment.
Health and Wellness
The University provides a range of services to support student health and wellness including alcohol and drug education through the Center for Prevention and counseling services. Students who aren’t already covered by a family member’s policy are encouraged to sign up for health insurance.

While we do not have on-campus housing, there are off-campus housing options, including some quite near campus. Here are some off-campus housing resources:
Students may also live in the residence halls our campus in Stevens Point and commute (about 35 minutes) to Wausau for classes.
Solution Center
The Solution Center provides comprehensive assistance to prospective and current students in the areas of admission, financial aid, advising, orientation, placement testing, disability services, tutoring services and student activities.
Advisors are available to help students learn about degree options, majors, academic requirements, and the process of transferring. Help is also available in assessing career goals, planning a return to school, adjusting to academic life, or other areas of concern relevant to beginning or returning to college.
Student Employment
Working on campus is an excellent option for earning money in a flexible job that can provide job experience in a field of interest. See the Student Employment page for more information.
Student employees enter the hours they have worked using the “My UW System” Portal.
Student Policies
As a student at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at Wausau, you have certain rights and responsibilities respecting your relationship with your fellow students and the University. The rules, regulations and policies you will find in this booklet are intended to foster an environment of mutual respect for you and your fellow students and to enhance the educational environment of your campus. Voting Guide
Voting is both a right and a responsibility for an engaged citizen. University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at Wausau encourages everyone to exercise the right to vote.
A photo ID will be required at the polls for upcoming elections. Most University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at Wausau students will still be able to use a Wisconsin driver’s license or State of Wisconsin ID, which already meet voter ID requirements.
Free Voter ID cards can be obtained by University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at Wausau students at the Solution Center office.
