Sarah Montzka

Museum Educator

Sarah is a senior wildlife education major. She is excited to start working on signage for the museum’s geology collection. She is originally from Anoka, Minn.

  • Favorite Animal(s):  The siphonophore. It’s an animal that looks like a jellyfish but is made up of a colony of animals instead of being a single organism. I’m fascinated by their weird anatomy!
  • Dream Job: Working in interpretive media design. I would enjoy a career in environmental education.
  • Hobbies:  I have a small but deeply spoiled collection of carnivorous plants that I hope to expand. Outside of cultivating plants, I love to go on adventures and document all the different plants and animals I have seen.
