Brian’s expertise is the integration of personal resilience and leadership effectiveness, with more than 25 years of executive coaching experience. For over a decade, Brian was senior assessor in the Executive Solutions Group, Global Assessment Operations at Development Dimensions International (DDI), Inc., a global leader in the science and practice of business leadership. He has interviewed and assessed more than 800 executives from the Fortune 500, spanning every major industry and continent. He is principal and co-founder of RYP Global, LLC, Resilience Coaching for Professionals. His deep background in psychology, mental health, health care and business has prepared him to help others boost their well-being and expand their professional impact.

One thing about your school that you are most proud of?
Professionally, our department is devoted to advancing health and well-being in ways that align with personal preferences, best practices, and community health. And personally, our conversations between classes, in the hallways, and at the outset of Zoom meetings are filled with positivity, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to student development.
What do you enjoy most about teaching?
I enjoy engaging students in the virtual classroom and involving them in group discussions. And I enjoy supporting them on their journey of personal and professional development.
A piece of advice for students in your school?
You only need to be yourself. And the rest will take care of itself.
