As an admissions volunteer you have the opportunity to help the admissions office recruit the best and brightest students in your area. Your help in recruiting future Pointers will help continue to keep UWSP strong, your stories and pride will bolster the University’s already terrific reputation. Q: What is the time commitment?
A: You may choose to spend as little or as much time as
you want. We will work with your schedule and needs.
Q: Other thank college fairs and face-to-face, what mode
of communication will I use when talking to students?
A: Most communications can be done from the comfort of
your own home, via phone or e-mail.
Q: Will I be reimbursed for volunteer related expenses?
A: Unfortunately, our budget does not permit us to
reimburse for expenses, but we do not anticipate you having to spend
much if anything and all your expenditures are, of course,
voluntary!
